Description
Instrument consisting in a bamboo tube covered by a junk straw fabric and a bell made of calabash. The fabric covering the tube has ornaments in straw color and dark brown. Around the tube’s upper part there’s a rope of fabric with many turns, and on the rest of the tube there are two more tied ropes, but those are made of vegetable fiber with less turns around the tube. The musician can play the following harmonic sounds on the instrument: C – C’. The museum’s specimen has no bell.
