LECTURE – Virtual Museum of Musical Instruments, a dynamic space in permanent expansion, dedicated to preserving the memory of musical instruments, bringing together national and international collections.

September 21st, 2021 – 6:30 pm

ROUND TABLE – Conversation on the topic “Virtual Museum”.

September 22nd, 2021 – 6:30 pm

EXHIBITION – Presentation of the new musical percussion instruments that were used by the composer Heitor Villa-Lobos in his music and that will soon be part of the collection of the MVIM and the Villa-Lobos Museum. These instruments are being made with the support of the MVIM Project by the talented hands of luthier Tiago Calderano, based on the book “Os instrumentos típicos brasileiros na obra de Villa-Lobos” [“Typical Brazilian instruments in the work of Villa-Lobos”] by Luiz D’Anunciação, the famous Pinduca, renowned percussionist in the musical scene of Brazil.
